I want to take my life and the time I have on this earth to try to tell others about Jesus, that Jesus Christ is God’s Son who took our sins to the Cross and shed His blood for our sins.

With the recent clashes between India and Pakistan, the fighting between Russia and Ukraine, conflict in the Middle East, Iran providing missiles to the Houthis, and Christians being murdered in Syria at the hands of Islamists, it feels as though the world is on the verge of exploding. It could only take one spark. Therefore, we need to pray that God’s hand would intervene and bring His peace that passes all understanding, and for His will to be done.

Yesterday, on the National Day of Prayer, President Donald J. Trump also announced the establishment of the Religious Liberty Commission, headed by Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick. It is a privilege for me to be asked to serve on this commission.
Religious freedom is a founding principle of our nation and remains as important today as it was when our forefathers set out to enshrine it in the First Amendment of the Constitution in 1791. Some call it the “first freedom” of Americans, and I would agree. I thank God that President Trump and the White House recognize the significance of religious freedom and its impact not only on our past, but on our future. It’s a cornerstone of America that should be defended and preserved for all people of faith.

Marcus Lemonis announced that he has closed one of his Greenville, NC, Camping World locations due to the ongoing controversy over the size of the American flags he flies outside of his businesses. The city council chose to hire outside counsel to sue Camping World back in March. I said then, and will say again, there should be a size exception made for the American flag. I love the stars and stripes—the bigger, the better in my eyes. Would you pray for Mr. Lemonis as this battle continues—and drop him a note of encouragement in the comments below!
