I want to take my life and the time I have on this earth to try to tell others about Jesus, that Jesus Christ is God’s Son who took our sins to the Cross and shed His blood for our sins.

On April 17, 1952, a bill initiated by Mr. Conrad Hilton of Hilton Hotels and Senator Frank Carlson of Kansas was passed to establish a National Day of Prayer. I am grateful there’s a day set aside to recognize and remind us of the vital importance of prayer for our nation and our leaders, including our President, Donald J. Trump. We need to thank God for the many abundant blessings that have come from His hand, and humbly ask for His forgiveness, mercy, help, guidance, and protection—not just today, but every day. Tennessee’s Republican Gov. Bill Lee signed a bill into law that will protect medical professionals from being forced to participate in procedures or services that violate their sincerely held ethical, moral, or religious beliefs. This is a huge step in the right direction! Alliance Defending Freedom’s Greg Chafuen said, “Patients are best served by health care professionals who are free to act consistent with their oath to ‘do no harm.’ Unfortunately, doctors and nurses have been targeted for caring for their patients by refraining from harmful and dangerous procedures.” People should not be forced to choose between their faith and their livelihood. Several states have already put these protections in place, and I hope many more will follow. Thank you Governor Lee!
